Lounge food is rubbish, I mean ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. Worse than Hilton Lima Miraflores - that bad. Otherwise a good hotel for the price.
Pro tip: If you plan on ordering a Port from the bar late at night, call them early in the evening and ask them to take it out of the fridge...
Service is great - I was SERIOUSLY ill when staying here once and they organised an appointment with a Dr just around the corner. Dude turned out to be one of Malaysia's leading ophthalmologists who also runs a GP clinic. Top bloke. Kept me going until I could get to Singapore a week later.
A lot of police and military stay here so for a Malaysian hotel security is usually pretty high. More covert than overt, but if you eat breakfast in the lounge regularly you'll often find 50%+ of the guests are commissioned officers.
