The silver lining is that the ibis Styles LaGuardia does not charge an "urban experience fee" (that would really be an outrage), but at the same time, stopped offering breakfast (!)
PS. I paid USD 30 (+sales tax) for breakfast at the SupeRNova a few years ago as a walk-in, so, if anything, the price remains appropriate. And it IS appropriate for a mildly upscale hotel in NYC, given the "European" selection (i.e. e.g. actual fruit and vegetables) and the location / view.
