If the 80/20 rule gets suspended for the NS20 season, are we likely to see an accelerated retirement of the 5 747's due to leave the fleet by November and the 3 ZZ 777-200's that are due to leave the fleet by October?
With the B787 problems of grounded aircraft and late deliveries, BA may not be on a hurry to retire these aircraft. They have only just returned the wet lease aircraft. There is no sign of a softening of the slot requirements yet.
