Does flying Club Europe alone entitle the OP to guesting rights? I get that his Silver status does but I'm not entirely sure that flying Club as a blue or without any frequent traveler membership would. And the initial question posed seems to suggest the OP was justifying the notion based upon stacking entitlements of flying Club AND being Silver (1 guest for each fact).
