Schedule change on UA award TK flight
Hello. We are 4 pax flying on UA *A award tickets including 2 segments on TK (IST-BKK and SIN-IST). I am UA 1K *A Gold member; others are non-status.
We just received notification from UA of a schedule change of the outbound TK flight; new schedule departs IST 2 hours and 20 mins earlier, causing difficulties for us to arrive in IST on time for new departure schedule.
Because of COVID-19, we were thinking of postponement of this trip anyway.
Would that schedule change be sufficient grounds to change award bookings and avoid any change fees?
Is this decision totally up to UA and its newly disclosed draconian rebooking policies?
