A top spot for a quick lunch next to the hotel: Johny' s luncheonette
Whole Foods Market is conveniently located 1 block away on west 24th street & 7th avenue.
I will avoid that hotel for sure then. My wife and I have some PTSD after a recent incident with the homeless that congregate near her now former workplace in Seattle, because it was too traumatic to go back. I am not taking that risk or dealing with that anymore.
