Looking to fly out to Australia in March 2021, ideally MAN-LHR-SIN-MEL. Having been checking equivalent dates for this March, I have noticed that there are quite a few occasions where there is CW availability on BA between MAN, LHR and SIN on BA, but only PE between SIN and MEL on Qantas (or PE from the UK and Business from Singapore).

In these cases, the website will not let me book the full journey in one go, but it looks as if I would have to make two separate bookings, which in turn would then be an issue should the arrival into SIN be delayed and we miss our MEL flight.

(Incidentally, would need to use BA for the flights to SIN in order to take advantage of the Amex 2-4-1 voucher.)

With this in mind, would the only viable option be to make the booking over the phone?
