The next day we were offered asked the taxi driver the price to Ica and the desert oasis known as Huacachina. We were quoted ~$65 for 7 hours w/ a desert tour.



After doing a bit of research I asked the concierge at the resort if he could call Hacienda La Caravedo to reserve a spot for a tour. I believe we paid ~$10 for a one hour private tour that included a drink and souvenir cup.






Pisco Porton is a top shelf Pisco. It's typically for sipping. Their lower end is what you will find in a Pisco Sour. You can pick up a bottle here all in for just under $25. Duty free sells the bottle for $35 and in the states it is around $55 after tax.
