One of the top things you can do is a tour of the Ballestas Islands. It's fantastic that you can depart from the resort's dock. You'll notice that our boat was only at half capacity with 11 guests on board, a boat driver, and a bilingual tour guide. You'll see most tour boats are filled to capacity (~30-40 people). Our boat was also noticeably faster making the trip too and from the island shorter. I recommend taking the last row as it is a bench that spans both sides allowing you to move to either side to take photos. Otherwise, you'll want to stay on the left side as a majority of the tour features things on the left side of the boat.


On property they offer a photography service. We didn't utilize this service, but it seems like a bargain at $35.


One of the most memorable things we did was the yacht tour of Paracas Bay. The normal price is $70 pp, but after an Expedia coupon we got it for $50 a person. Tours depart several times a day. Typically the 9am and 1pm tours have little to no people. We booked a 1pm tour, but since no one else booked the tour we had the boat to ourselves and were allowed to pick our time of departure. We left around 2pm. The only downside was it slowly became overcast during our cruise.




A chef comes on board and brings out a series of three appetizers.




The food was fantastic.
