I agree with Cymro. I wouldn't do one of the vehicles with a mileage limit for a road trip. I would be so far over the limit, the final bill would be ridiculous. Upgrade to the elite on the spot, in order to at least have a chance of having the mileage limit waived. The Hertz employees will tell you otherwise (at least all I have spoken with) but the unlimited mileage from the original contract has carried over for me, several times.
