Not being fluent in Japanese removes me somewhat in following News of Covid-19 in Japan the way I follow it in England and Spain, but what is really striking me is the (obviously political) decision to go after the younger demographic and blame them for spread. Those who aren’t submitting to the Super-Gaman ™️ austerity measures are being aggressively scapegoated.

I guess that’s another feature of selective testing, you can make the results serve the narrative of your choice.
