I'm guessing our second leg on BA12 is at risk of being cancelled. I can' find exact dates but I think they have only reviewed and changed flights up until 24th March.
There is redemption availability on other dates within a week for the BA16 and BA12 from SIN to LHR. Is there any consistency on which one likely is likely to be dropped?
I think we have a better chance if we premptively change rather than get bumped and be bottom of the choice in premium cabins due to redemption.
I'm on the same flights on 28 March. My wife was on the cancelled BA11 on 25 March, so we have now cancelled our holiday in SE Asia (despite Viet Nam looking like one of the safest countries in the world!). Since I'm working pro bono, I have ended up with two separate tickets using awards. The first, SYD-SIN on BA16 is an avios award in Club and I have no concerns about that. The other, SIN-LHR-GVA, is a WT, upgraded with a gold voucher, ticket. That's on BA 12 and is the one that has the potential for cancellation. The loads of both BA12 and BA16 are light and raise the possibility of BA 12 cancellation. I spoke with GGL yesterday and we decided to leave under review.
So if you are thinking of any changes stick with BA16, particularly as it is showing J9C9D9R9I9 everyday from 27 to 31 March..
