How do no show fees work on SQ?

We currently have booked a Chase rewards booking as a Premium Economy Lite (R) fare for four people. One of our younger children has an underlying chronic health condition that is stable, but which we are not interested in testing with coronavirus while traveling out of the US. We cannot cancel this fare. But, we understand from Chase travel agents that we could pay $100/pp change fees and rebook for a future date, which is not a great option at this time.

We also understand that we could do a "no show" and pay a $200/pp fee and get a credit valid for the fares we've paid that must be used with 365 days of original booking. Questions we have that our agent didn't ask after being on hold waiting for 1.5 hours:

* Do we actually just not show up for the flight and then request a no show fare reinstatement?
* Does the $200/pp fee get deducted from the fare credit or do we have to pay out of pocket an additional $200/pp?
* How long is the fare credit valid for?
* Must the fare be used for the same origin/destination as the original booking, or can we use it for different city pairs?

Many, many thanks for your help!
