Also I totally avoid having champagne on board any airline (Yes, not even in SQ F). I find champagne at 30k feet always has an adverse reaction to my digestive system, sleeping pattern etc.
However, I do have a few glasses of red wine with the meal and always have a glass of port &/or some liquer though. Two favourite liquers that work as great digestifs for me are (German) Underberg and also Gammel Dansk. And they do help me sleep
