On my recent trip to Phoenix (I'm sure you've all read my hard work in the trip report section) I must admit I did indulge in the wines/champagne and Gin and Tonic. However an almost blinding headache at the 8 hour of the 10 hour trip resulted in drinking around 2 litres of sparkling Highland Spring water (the medium size green 1 litre bottles) which certainly helped a lot - the time zone change and therefore daylight outside as well always makes things worse as well after a few drinks!

For the return trip, it was Champagne then water then red wine then water then Gin and Tonic then water....... I think you get the idea. Felt fine afterwards, slept well, no hangover the following day (well 5 hours later for Breakfast.... ) That's my recommedation anyhow - the water is important!
