We are flying BWI-LHR Friday night in J and as an AA Gold I was able to add my AA# via Finnair.com and select our seats several days ago. I selected 13EF so we sit together facing the same direction.

Tonight, I went back in for some reason to take another look, and after some confusion due to the map having only 4 J seats across,I figured out that they must have substituted in a refurbished 77M with the Club World Suites. But oddly the row numbering started with rows 2 then 5-17. I'm guessing they made Row 2 of the F cabin into J for this flight because they had too many J sold for this version. Is that correct? In any case, I grabbed 1E and 1K (someone else must have moved from K to A after I took the screenshot below). Did I just get a free upgrade?
