This dumbass needs to be thrown in jail for twice the amount of time he or she was supposed to self isolate. And the authorities need to make a very public example of him/her. To avoid possibly infecting other prisoners, I suggest solitary confinement.

In Singapore, as I wrote earlier, if you break quarantine you will be put in jail for 6 month if you are local and if you are a foreigner you Permanent Residency or work visa will be canceled following with lifetime ban to enter country. When I wrote about this in Travelbuzz I was told that it is 'worse than China' and 'no way I want to be in country with these laws'.
