I agree. On Friday I did EWR - LIM in Polaris in 1B. There were no slippers on the seat upon boarding. During boarding, the Purser kept going to the small bin over my seat. Finally, it dawned on me that pax were asking and getting slippers. I really did not want slippers. On the return flight, I will ask because the "stockings" in the kit are really so thin that I found them worthless.

Getting poor service from an FA in any class, but especially in Polaris - is a different story. Our flight attendants were very good. The Purser spent most of his non-serving time standing in the aisle near the galley waiting to be called.
