A few issues with this
1. It can only be marketed as a BA flight if it’s part of a connection with an intl itinerary. US/EU (I’m guessing UK will follow suit) trade protections dictate that they cannot sell domestic US flights.
2. As someone pointed out to me in another thread, to earn miles on AS Brie flight needs to be operated and marketed by the same carrier. In practice you might get an exception since AA/BA are both partners.
