AA and BA use two separate systems and they don't readily talk to each other after the booking is made (remember you get two separate confirmation codes - one from BA and one from AA)

I have an AA flight in my BA app that has had the time changed and it is not reflected in the BA app but it is in the AA app (which for the flight is the one that matters)


I would not worry about this at all even if the emails are annoying.
