Policies

To protect the value of your Alaska Lounge membership, we ask you to observe the following membership policies.

Membership

  • Membership expires one year from the date of processing, on the last day of the month. Memberships may be renewed online, by mail, at any Alaska Lounge location or over the phone by calling our customer care at 1-800-654-5669 .
  • Alaska Airlines® reserves the right to restrict, alter, and/or modify the fees, benefits, services, and lounge locations and hours at any time, with or without written notice to its members.
  • Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Membership card

  • Membership cards are not transferable and may not be loaned to others. Alaska Lounge staff will retain a membership card presented by anyone other than the cardholder.
  • Digital membership cards are available on the Alaska Airlines mobile app in the My account section.
  • Expired membership cards will be retained by the Lounge staff. A temporary membership card will be provided immediately upon renewal or purchase of new membership.
  • If your membership card is lost or stolen, please call our customer care at 1-800-654-5669 to request a replacement card. A replacement fee of $10 USD will be charged at the time of processing.

Access

  • Members may purchase a day pass for additional traveling companions, or for guests and family not traveling with the member, at a reduced rate of $25 USD per person. Children younger than 2 can accompany an adult member at no charge; children 2 and older need to pay for access.
  • Non-members may purchase a day pass for entrance on a space available basis.
  • Membership in the Alaska Lounge is open to all persons 18 years of age and older, upon application and payment of appropriate dues.
  • To access the Alaska Lounge, members and guests must present a valid membership card, same-day ticketed boarding pass on any carrier. We may ask for a government-issued photo ID. You may be asked to sign a roster with your name and Alaska Lounge account number upon entering affiliated lounges.
  • Members are welcome to bring immediate family (partner and children under the age of 21) or as many as two guests at no extra charge; however, members must accompany and remain with family and guests at all times.
  • Passengers traveling on a paid First Class or a First Class award ticket (e.g., A, D, F, P, or I class of service) on flights operated by Alaska Airlines have access to Alaska Lounge locations only on their day of flight. These fares do not include entrance agreements into other airline clubrooms. To access the Alaska Lounge, passengers must show their same-day First Class boarding pass to the Alaska Lounge Staff. Passengers upgraded to First Class, (booked in U class of service) whether complimentary, paid, or using miles do not have complimentary access to the Alaska Lounge.

Alaska Lounge house rules

  • Our management reserves the right to deny entrance to any guest whose attire is not appropriate for the Alaska Lounge setting.
  • For the comfort of all of our guests, no outside food or alcohol may be brought into the Alaska Lounge.
  • We respectfully ask that guests enjoy lounge offerings within the room and not remove food, beverages, or periodicals from the Alaska Lounge, except for purchased made-to-order meals, tea, or coffee.
  • In compliance with fire and safety standards, airport luggage carts are not permitted in any Alaska Lounge.
  • In compliance with state guidelines, quiet pets in carry-on kennels and service animals are welcome in the Alaska Lounge. Animals are not allowed on any furniture and are not allowed to eat or drink from lounge service ware. The staff reserves the right to request that a pet be removed from the Alaska Lounge in the event it becomes unruly or disruptive to other guests. All policies associated with service or emotional support animals traveling on Alaska Airlines flights applies in the Alaska Lounge with the understanding that local regulations regarding service animals supersede Lounge policies.
  • Smoking, chewing tobacco, and using smokeless tobacco and electronic cigarettes are prohibited.
  • As a courtesy to other guests, please use headphones when using personal devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and must behave in a manner conducive to the quiet atmosphere of the Alaska Lounge. The staff reserves the right to ask the accompanying adult to take a child out of the room if the child becomes unruly or disruptive to other guests.
  • To protect the value of membership by maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and order, members and guests are asked to refrain from placing feet on or reclining across Alaska Lounge furniture.
  • Alaska Airlines will not be held responsible for any articles lost or stolen in the Alaska Lounge.
  • Alaska Lounge hours vary by location and are subject to change.
  • Guests who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs (unless due to a documented disability) may be denied access to the lounge for the safety and comfort of other guests and our staff.
  • Alaska Lounge staff are limited to serving three complimentary alcoholic beverages to a member or guest per visit.
  • As a courtesy to others, guests are asked to restrict cell phone use to designated areas within an Alaska Lounge (see the staff for more information).
  • Employees from Alaska Airlines or any other airline are not permitted access while in uniform. Alaska Lounge Staff reserves the right to ask the individual to remove or cover the uniform or accessory and present a valid same-day boarding pass for entry. Employees must be intending to travel and cannot enter the Alaska Lounge or any of our partner lounges while on duty, on reserve, or while commuting.
  • Alaska Airlines may refuse admission to, or revoke the membership privileges of, those who fail to comply with the above guidelines and those who disrupt other members or guests.
  • Alaska Airlines may refuse or revoke access to the Alaska Lounge to guests whose conduct is deemed by Alaska Airlines to be disorderly, abusive, offensive, threatening, intimidating, violent, belligerent, irrational, or otherwise dangerous to Alaska Airlines employees or other guests. Alaska Airlines also reserves the right to terminate a guest's membership in the Alaska Lounge program and ban a guest from future participation in the Alaska Lounge program for engaging in this conduct. Guests whose access to the Alaska Lounge is revoked or whose membership in the Alaska Lounge program is terminated due to abusive conduct will not receive a refund.
