See Post #2 for how to search for IB award seats when you don't have IB Avios. Ignore the redemption rates you see on aa.com for flights on IB metal: when you redeem IB Avios, you pay IB's rates, not AA's. Just use aa.com to check availability, not award pricing.
I don't see a discrepancy in the peak/off-peak calendar for April on the Iberia site and on the Points to be Made site: April 4 is off-peak; April 3, 8, and 9 are peak.
