With upcoming point category changes, I wanted to make some advance reservations ahead of time. I have 2 free night certificates and since I am not 100% sure if I will stay at a certain hotel, can I make a reservation using points, then attach a certificate and get a point refund? Or do I just play my odds and hope that the bookings I made will be the ones with the certificates attached.
