My stay at this hotel was great. As often in Miami Beach, there was an event in town so prices were steeper than usual.
I contacted the hotel prior my stay to enquire about ALL benefits and they confirmed an upgrade to a beachfront room (Gold Member)
Check-in
I drove to the hotel. Lots of trafic so was real pain. Valet service only at the hotel but multiple self-service parking nearby.
Check-in was quick and courteous. They doesn’t seem to be used to Accor members. Absolutely no ALL branding, everything is sbe.
They reconfirm my upgraded room and gave me 3 drink vouchers good for any cocktail at any bar at the hotel (I believe there are at least 4)
Late check-out until 2PM was provided.
Room
Very fashion-driven , all white room (was designed by Starck a few years ago)
The room isn’t very quiet as it faces bars from the hotel and the neighbor SLS which are very popular. Expect noise until 1AM.
Bathroom Amenities are Ciel Reserve by sbe
I received a bottle of French sparkling wine as welcome amenity.
Other services
My rate was inclusive of breakfast which gave me 35USD to use at the restaurant or room service. I had an avo toast and an açai bowl. Very good.
Drinks were great at the main bar and restaurant but more basic at the pool and beach area
The pool is beautiful but they let people “reserve” chairs so the pool area was full with only 30 people on 100 chairs...
The beach was more enjoyable and quiet with nice chairs and umbrella.
Location is good, very close to shopping and South Beach attractions. Difficult to beat. Time Out Market was a favorite.
Check-out was seamless. Overall, I had a good stay and would go back if prices were reasonable. I would ask for a more quiet room, possibly on the street side of on the side.
