At the hotel now. Lounge not that full few minutes before 6pm, so it pays off to be early, got the window seats with great view. Asked for glass of L-P Champagne, but was told they only have Chandon. What is more ridiculous, is that they cannot serve you G&T until clock hits 6pm, citing it is chargable in this case. A bit laughable nickel-and diming. Just coming from Fairmont - the lounge personnel service quality difference is huge. Also they are eager to top up your class with LP.
Food-wise lounge happy hour is alright though, also breakfast at Oscars was fine in the morning, with better service than Prego at Fairmont, although choice of food is lot smaller.
All-in-all cant really complain as also got nice Diamond upgrade. Would return on points or F&F rate, but definitely would not pay 300SGD++ for this. Fairmont has rates under 200SGD during Accor+ sale events.
