I flew LHR-HAN-SGN-OZ and back on a great VN business fare a few years back. Base was $2200 and adding a week stopover in HAN added about $200.
Search google flights and you may find something through EU. I think VN either flies or codeshares with other SkyTeam carriers from LON, AMS, CDG, and seasonal I think PRG (largest Vietnamese expat community in Europe except for France, I think).
