Hi all,

I have in the past used cash to pay for return flights from London to the US (as taxes on reward seats are just to high in economy) and then separately used Avios to purchase return flights from the US to my final destination (e.g. New York to Cancun, low taxes). The problem of course is that even if I am using Oneworld airlines each time, I have limited to no rights if I miss the connection.

Is there any way to book one sector using cash and the connecting flight in Avios on one ticket/booking somehow, e.g. by calling BA?

Probably not but thought I'd ask.
