I created this spreadsheet showing the 777 utilization by seating configuration. It is based off of 15-March, 2020 departures. While I created it for a different purpose, I was shocked to see how many flights are flying with domestic planes compared to the international planes. Almost 50% of all 777 take-offs and landings are made on the domestic planes. While I get that a TPAC route can be up to 15 hours, and most domestic routes max out at 5 or 6 hours, I still expected to see a higher percentage of routes with international equipment. It's a good visual as to how the China / Asia suspension has taken its toll.

Also noted is how the 772s are being used on flights that don't normally see widebody aircraft. For example, domestic 772s are used on ORD-LAS, ORD-MCO, and EWR-MCO, and one of the ORD-MCO frequencies is served by an sUA 772. I guess UA is trying to make as many seats available as possible right now in hopes of that extra buck or two.
