Reduced tier points on discounted tickets would be a welcome change. I've done LGW-PLH return 10 times over the last 6 months at a revenue to BA of around £1500, what do I have to show for my trouble? 2,500 miles and 0 tier points. Yet when I spent £1500 on a CW ticket to GRU via AMS, I had around 25,000 miles and 300 tier points! I know its not a simple as that (long haul vs short) but it shows the extremes, they need to meet us somewhere in the middle
