I am Gold medallion and I am trying to keep my gold medallion for this year. I have trying to book a one way ticket from NY to SGN Vietnam. Normally, I would use China Eastern or Delta/Korean Air unfortunately I can not transit through China and go to Vietnam. If I fly through ICN I will be put away for 14 days in Saigon. SO I am trying to book flights going through Tokyo using the skyteam. The Delta site does not give me the option to fly through Tokyo and go to SGN. Is there a way to book this flight or see what my options are? I tried the online searches but may be I dont know the right options. One way is to book a flight to Tokyo on Delta and then take a chance book another flight on Vietnam airlines the next day. However, I have not found a way to combine both legs of flights and stay on the skyteam.
