My party of 4 would like to drop off (bag tag and give to HA for screening) a car full of bags for a KOA-HNL flight so we don’t have to have them in the car while go for a quick dinner before the evening flight. How early before departure time does HA accept bags? Is 3 hours ok or too early? Thank you!

Edited to add: I just found this somewhat buried on the HA site: “Please note that we are unable to accept checked bags more than 4 hours prior to departure.”

Guess I’m good to go unless someone has an experience to the contrary.
