So this is the perfect time to switch back to Lufthansa - if AY is cutting the points on "discounted" J tix. Specially because the LH group are offering very competitve prices, and one can upgrade to First once in a while (and it is a far better situation being waitlisted for a LH F flight then being waitlisted for an AY J flight).
AY did a lot of things to make their product less attractive - if they gonna cut points on a larger scale - there is absolutley no reason to stay with them - the PW is not healing everything.
Especially for you guys in central Europe it's a no-brainer....that's why I think it's a crazy business move from AY if they do it..unless, of course, J basic is dirt cheap...that might balance things out but with PE coming they cannot really do that eiher...
