A card on the driver's seat with a note wishing me a happy birthday. 3,500 miles on the car. I had reserved a midsize.
I also received a birthday card + a leather strapped card/id holder this week in my assigned vehicle. My birthday is next week but the length of the rental overlaps it. I've been renting at Hertz LAX for 30 years & they know me well. They know I love the largest SUV & biggest truck. I reserved in the lowest priced class above compact for my dates, a midsize SUV, and was upgraded to a brand new (5 miles) Suburban LT with leather trim & active Sirius XM.
