1) Does anyone know why up until like Oct 5, the lowest room rate is like ~$1100/night then from there until the mid of Dec the lowest room rate is ~$4000? I thought Oct was still before the high season and I thought mid of december would be the high season.
2) That $4,000 rate corresponds to a King overwater villa w/ pool- I thought this was bookable on points for 120K (and thus should not be considered a premium room)?
3) I see a lot of posts about best villas- how do you go about getting those villas? Just ask after you book?

1. Not sure if anyone will be able to speak to #1 . The hotel must deem those dates to be desirable. I'm staying in April, and most dates are $4700/nt, even on dates that have reward availability. Seems pretty common for this property actually.
2. The Reef Villa, and the Ocean Villa are the villas that are bookable on points for 120K. Not the "Overwater Villa." That said, even standard rooms will go for $4700/nt or more.
3. You can request certain villas in your category after you book. There is no guarantee.
