You can ask for anything, but SQ (or any other carrier, really) isn't obliged to do anything as they've given you more than the required 14-day advance notice.
At best you might get SQ to cover your last night's accommodation, but it will most certainly be at a hotel of their choosing, and definitely not the Waldorf.
