In full expectation of receiving the advertised American Express Aspire card $100 Property Credit, in October 2019 I booked a 4 night stay at the Waldorf Astoria Panama by first going to HiltonHonors.com/aspirecard, entering my credit card # and then proceeding with the booking. Upon checking out from the hotel a few days ago, I was informed by the clerk at the front desk that the $100 credit had not been included with the reservation and the $100 credit could not be given. In spite of having accumulated nearly $300 of food and beverage charges at the hotel, I was told that I needed to contact someone else to rectify the apparent computer error/glitch.
I have been in communication with Hilton (through the website & e-mail) to see what can be done to obtain the advertised promotion. No luck so far. All I've been offered is 5,000 points.
I had the same issue with the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem - I even had the print out of my reservation which clearly stated the $100 credit, but no luck even after talking to the manager. I ended up just calling Amex when I got home and the rep credited the $100 to my account. Hope that will work for you too!
