This part of the program has been overhauled....basically, now you earn your 8 VIPs when you cross the 100K mark...and they are valid for 12 mos from then. Then next year, if/when you requalify again, you get another 8 that are valid, again, for 12 mos from the date that you cross 100K.

The mass mailings of VIPs in March are a thing of the past. Also note, that paper VIPs are gone, as they will all be electronic, and you are to have a "bank" that you can see on-line in which they are deposited. That's still not working on aa.com, so for the time being, EXP agents can access them for your use, tell you how many left, etc.
