Thank you to all for posting updates and information from Northern Italy. My family too has a Spring Break trip planned long ago, leaving in 10 days, starting in Milan but including the Lake District and/or heading down to Cinque Terre. Like others, our biggest concerns are: getting stuck in the area due to travel bans; getting quarantined when we return for being near an outbreak; and, touristic sites, ferries, and restaurants being closed or operation on limited schedules. It's early in the season for some of these areas anyway, so if no one is out and about, it'll be less fun to visit for sure. Our flights are paid basic economy - i.e. nonrefundable, so we're stuck with that cost at the minimum. Keep the updates coming this week and next and good luck to all - hoping the situation returns to normal sooner than later.
