I've been able to redeem 80-90% of my GUCs over the years I've been DM, and that in itself is worth it IMO.
And you can get the individual skyclub membership as a choice benefit...

Is it worth doing $5k in mileage runs, probably not but if you get your GUCs right you could actually get that value out of it...
