I'm on a United booked award fare for a Swiss flight with 2 pax on the itinerary. When I went through OLCI, one pax was issued boarding passes just fine, the other one, shows the following message:

This is not a boarding pass
Please show this document at the check-in counter upon your arrival at the airport. It will be exchanged with a valid boarding pass.

I tried calling OLCI support, they tried to issue the boarding pass but they weren't able to. The said everything looked fine on the reservation and ticket, and the airport counter would be able to do it for me tomorrow. Am I being BSed here, or is this a common error and I should just chalk this up to Swiss IT being crappy?
