IME, slippers are available on all TATL flights, most of the time "on demand", e.g. I would have to ask for them / not automatically distributed.
One time out of some 50+ Polaris flights slippers were not boarded/not found. Never heard the "flight-too-short" excuse.
Same for mattress pads, btw.
