After I enter the passenger details, I get an error statement. This only happens with multiple leg bookings though, I tested a return flight booking and it went through to payment portal fine.

I want the 5x points from from my Amex platinum card so don't want to go through third party websites. Called Latam to try book via the phone and they want a usd40 fee per ticket.

Any ideas how I get around this? Tried different browsers, laptops, devices and result is the same
I will say that I have actually booked a LATAM flight through orbitz on my AMEX Platinum and surprisingly coded as 5x MR’s it’s weird because while the charge was pending it’s said LAN Chile but when it posted it said Orbitz Seattle. Just my data point
