Does any other aircraft reach 40,000ft of calibrated altitude?

Just watching a BA A351 on Flightradar cruising at 40,000ft. On the same route I have seen a BA B744 and B773 reaching max 36,000ft.

Any tangible benefits from flying at a higher altitude? Will fuel consumption be higher or lower?

Thank you!
