Posting about this on FT seems to have had the perfect outcome - you’ve responded within a few hours to say you’re now aware and will fix it, and from this point others encountering the same issue can find this discussion thread and rest assured it’s in hand. So it seems that indirectly at least, FT really can help you fix seat maps.
I would just add that I am a very satisfied EF subscriber and consider the service to be indispensable. There have been countless examples where the alerting function has made a material difference to my flight experiences.
