I live in the NY area. Most of my travel is domestic, as are most of my miles redemptions. I might visit Israel again at some point in the next few years. I remember hearing a while ago that it's possible to earn Alaska Air miles by flying El Al. But testing the reservation process on El Al or Orbitz websites don't bring up any other frequent flyer account options to attach besides El Al's own, Matmid. Testing the Alaska Air website says that TLV is not a valid destination. Alaska Air and El Al customer service on Facebook suggested this can only be done manually over the phone. Has anyone found a faster / easier self-service way to do it?
