To the OP’s original question - events like this where the aircraft builds up a ‘history’ are extremely common. In fact, BA has a whole team dedicated to analysing operational data to spot them and recommend corrective actions to engineers. Two events which may or may not even be related are not enough to create a data set to prove anything.
