To hell with your "facts". You must not have much practical experience with non-stop to connecting DL SDCs. I've done this at least one hundred times (I SDC almost everytime I fly, very often from NS to connecting because a route i frequent only has 1 NS per day) -- and I have only been charged taxes (usually $5.60 but sometimes up to $8.70) less than ten times. Probably closer to 5. Five out of more than 100 is not a "fact"
