I purchased SFO-DEL round trip from chase travel portal earlier today (Feb 21). SFO-DEL is on UA metal non-stop (UA104) while the return is through YVR on UA codeshare (AC metal). United P booking class for all segments.

I also used 100 UR points ($1.50) for the ticket thinking that it will make it a specialty ticket and earn 150% of actual miles flown. However, UA website still shows earning based on ticket price. Does this "loophole" of using UR points not work anymore?


Also, at the time of booking, chase portal showed 24 hr no-penalty cancellation period. However I just called Chase to change the return date and was told that I have till Feb 24 11:59pm to cancel the ticket without penalty. Supposedly because I booked it on Friday and weekend is not counted in this period. Is that correct or the agent was mistaken? I'm still looking at other flight options and don't want to be told later that I'm past the 24 hr cancellation period.
