Which is the appropriate result. Had the travel agent known what they were doing none of this would have happened. When you book through a TA adherence to the airlines policies really does become the agents responsibility. Otherwise, what are you paying for? TG may well deserve censure for handling it clumsily/badly/rudely...but the basic fault lies elsewhere....
