I'm accustomed to paying by points, or sub 100 USD cash, for stays in a Paradise Tower room in early December. I accept the hotel as is, in return for a low price and my diamond benefits.

Looking now for December 2020, the prices (for this establishment) are "insane". Over 300USD before the 37USD resort charge. At The Tropicana!

Any ideas what's going on? If the rooms remain at the sort of price, I'm off to Wynn.
